Last weekend saw the Tollemache heat at Coventry. Lincolnshire seemed
to be drawn in a reasonable heat and had hopes of bettering their performance
of recent years. After the first round of matches we were in 3rd position
but things then fell apart. The overall results were, with Lincs VP's
first, Kent 0 - 20, Staffs & Shrops 9 - 11, Devon 16 - 4, Northants
6 - 14, Beds 1 - 19, Avon 10 - 10, Lancs 1 -19, and Cumbria 16 - 4.
